Welcoming spring and egg hunt in the garden
With lots of kids, we stood eggs, hunted for the cooked (and plastic ones), roasted marshmallows, played music and ate...Oh, and sent good fertility and health vibes to the garden and those we love, especially those who need them the most. Some images (Maya is the one looking like a catburgler) The rest of the photos are here

Mayalimpics - part 3
Thanks to Tania, maya and mandea for the good weather wishes - we had a superb sunny spring afternoon - in spite of all predictions of rain, clouds and snow. The girls were great = pretty much took care of themselves - from serving themselves with food to finding games to play - leaving us to sit in the sun and beam with pride. Some pics
The rest of them are here and also here

Mayalimpics - Part deux
Today we gave Maya her presents. She was celebrated at school by her classmates and later we had a school conference where we had the usual glowing report (she is kind, she makes efforts to be fair to everyone - and the "critiques" - "sometimes she capitalizes the wrong words and is overly eager in the meetings (hands up)
So, we went to a restaurant to celebrate her. Some pics - from the starting of the Harry Potter diary and the restaurant tonight
Happy Birthday Maya!
I took the picture while I was giving her sun baths to cure the jaundice she developped the day after I brought her home. And cured it did. I learned this trick from a resident in NICU where they were holding Brian with the same condition after he was born - one exposure to the sun and he was sent home!

I declare the Mayalimpics open!
The first event in the Maya birthday festivities took place today at the grandparents house. We had been fashionably late - because we missed the fact that today light savings time started.
All the old friends that have been celebrating her since she was born, were here. See the whole collection here
