Ava and Brian were here!

They came yesterday afternoon! We had a nice talk - about the trip to Romania, plans for the future for Brian...Later we went to the river where Brian and Victor jammed while we watched the soundless lighting above the water. First as muffled lights in the fog, then as clear lightning bolts getting closer and closer (the rain eventually started just as they went away)Photos click to larger size. Happy belated Birthday, Cristina!

It was on June 7 - you may have forgotten it by now - but I do know you guys celebrated it nicely - with Sasha's baptism and the trip to Sinaia.

This morning (afternoon there) she arrived by train from Budapest and was met by Cati at Gara de Nord. I spoke with both.

I got news from Paris. Ava is having a great time. After school is over she plans traveling around in Europe, making it in Romania in the middle of June.
Some very interesting tales about the post elections riots and how she got in the middle of them...

News From Ava

Just got another e-mail from Paris.
She is having a great time, found an old frend from high school. She saw a Romanian movie "A fost sau n-a fost?" which she loved.

Just got a very enthusiastic e-mail from Paris. Ava is safe and happy about everything around her! really a joy to read!

The image is from a live cam feed I now have on my homepage - it helps me with the night/day differences - applicable to Bucharest/Israel as well if I add one hour.
